Description
Raw Material
Plywood is a very strong manufactured wood, built-up from layers of veneers, which are bonded together to create a flat smooth sheet; here it’s supported by tubular steel metal frames.
The History
The development of tubular steel furniture in the 1920s and 1930s is considered a milestone in the history of modern furniture. This design was pioneered in the 1940s, with UK manufacturers constructing our chairs in the 50s.
